Oh my, could you all hear my heart beat as you read my last post? It rang through my ears until I started to read all your comments. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your hugs, love, and support.
Now it is time to get back on the road again!
Over the last two days, I took time to write and do what we all do: laundry and food shopping. I stayed an extra day because of a heat advisory. I can handle the cold, but I will try to avoid heat at any cost.
Douglas, Wyoming, is a small town with a great library. How do I know it's a small town? Yes, I Googled it, but it's also been a fun experience here. On Saturday, while I was sitting in the library, two women were chatting near me. I asked them if they could please watch my laptop while I ran to the restroom (you know when to trust). Of course, that led to a fun conversation. At the supermarket today, Erin and her mom, Kerry, came to say hi again. I was so glad to see them! Erin recommended a state park on my way to Badlands NP, but I couldn't remember the name. Therefore, tomorrow, I will head to Custer State Park.
I thought it would be a great idea to show you the setup of my Carpartment. May it inspire you to build your own 'home.'

Hi Gila! We met in the St Mary hotel lobby by snagging the 2 comfy chairs in the corner with wall outlets. Just wanted to mention one of the absolute best night sky programs was given in the Badlands by the park service. They have an incredible dark sky. If you can work it into your schedule it’s worth the late night to attend.
