My Pacifica CarPlay still gets touchy but mostly works- love my Audi books, radio, devotionals, etc. Honestly, I miss my Chrysler town and country van- the boxy space- but the Pacifica took over those. I may grab a Dodge Caravan next time around, Lord Willing.
I love the interactions small w/people at gas stations, stores, smiling, holding doors, etc. Love how you make lasting connections with others on the road. I don’t do that as easily. I don’t cook on the road- I have my lil set up. I say, Someday I’ll go from my van to assisted living! I typically overnight in Hampton Inn parking lots; my husband has a retired job driving guests to airport in Msp/St Paul. He’s not into van camping but lets me go- as I let him do what he enjoys.
